Steel table bases

Steel table legs, welded in Maasbree

Steel frames are welded in the workshop in Maasbree, the Netherlands, to the size of your top. They are then powder coated with a fine texture, 3 to 5 times thicker than wet paint.

The drawback: powder coating is a layer of paint that could, in theory, be damaged by a heavy impact. For metal without a coating, see the stainless steel table bases.

10 standard colours

The steel base is available in 10 standard colours: 8 RAL colours and 2 anodised finishes. Other colours are not supplied.

• Black: RAL 9005 jet black, RAL 9011 graphite black.
• Grey: RAL 7021 black grey, RAL 7016 anthracite grey, RAL 7023 concrete grey, RAL 7044 silk grey.
• White: RAL 9010 pure white, RAL 9001 cream.
• Anodised: Anodic Bronze and Anodic Brown.

Which colour for which top?

• Black table legs stand out under light ceramic or light oak.
• Anodic Bronze and Anodic Brown suit oak in a warm stain and walnut.
• Pure white gives a light look under light tops.
• A dark granite top on a black base makes an all-dark table.

Models

Each model is named after a city: Amsterdam, Brussel, Dubai, Dublin, Geneve, Helsinki, Lissabon, Monaco, Praag, Rhodos, Riga, Sydney and Venetie. Geneve, Lissabon, Praag and Riga come in a round and a rectangular version. Riga has two profile sizes: 80 × 40 mm looks slimmer, 80 × 80 mm sturdier.

Steel base for outdoors

A steel base can stand outside with an outdoor primer: the frame then gets an extra primer coat under the powder coating. Steel with primer and stainless steel are equally suitable outdoors; the choice is about looks.

Combine it with a top that can go outside too, such as ceramic. Complete outdoor tables are under steel garden tables.

Under your own top or with a new one

If you already have a top, give its size and material; a ceramic top is heavy. The standard table height is 760 mm. Choose a new top under table tops, or a complete table under steel dining tables.

Care

Wipe the frame with a damp cloth and, if needed, a mild cleaner. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaners; they can damage the powder coating.

Tables, table tops and bases: delivery within 4 weeks, or at a lower rate within 8 weeks. Collection in Maasbree is also possible. You get a 2-year guarantee on construction and finish.
