Stainless steel base made to measure

Every stainless steel base is welded in the workshop in Maasbree, the Netherlands, to the size of your top, to the millimetre. You choose the model and enter the size of your top; the configurator shows the price straight away.

Stainless steel 304: no coating needed

The bases are made from stainless steel 304, also known as 18/8. It is naturally corrosion resistant, so no coating is needed.

• Brushed: the standard finish, with a fine line texture and a soft silver sheen.
• Powder coated: stainless steel can optionally be powder coated in a RAL colour.
• Drawback: fingerprints show, although they are easy to remove.

Stainless steel or steel?

The choice is about looks. For the sheen of brushed metal, choose stainless steel. For a colour such as black, anthracite or bronze, choose a steel base, powder coated in one of 10 standard colours.

Outdoors they are equally suitable: a steel base for outdoor use gets an extra primer coat under the powder coating.

Models in brushed stainless steel

The models are named after cities: Amsterdam, Brussel, Dublin, Helsinki, Riga and Sydney. Riga comes in two profile sizes, 80 × 40 mm and 80 × 80 mm, each in a round and a rectangular version. The slimmer profile looks lighter, the square one sturdier.

Stainless steel base for outdoors

Stainless steel can stay outside all year without an extra coat. Combine it with a top that can go outside too, such as ceramic: frost resistant and UV resistant. Complete outdoor tables are under stainless steel garden tables.

Which top on a stainless steel base?

• Ceramic in a marble or concrete look makes a clean, cool whole.
• Oak in a warm stain sets warm wood against cool metal.
• Walnut and brushed stainless steel give a dark top on a light base.
• Nero Assoluto granite on stainless steel contrasts black with silver.

All tops are under table tops. If you already have a top, give its size and material; a ceramic top is heavy. The standard table height is 760 mm.

Care

Wipe stainless steel with a damp cloth and dry it, in the direction of the brushing. For fingerprints and grease there is a stainless steel cleaner under maintenance.
