Which dining set suits you?

Every set is a table with six chairs. So you are mainly choosing the top, the shape and the type of chair.

What is in a set?

• The table: rectangular, oval or Danish oval, in oak, walnut or ceramic.
• Six chairs: Bento, Lento, Luna or Ritmo, as a fixed chair or a swivel chair.
• Colour-matched: the stain or ceramic colour of the table and the chairs are chosen to go together, such as oak in Mud, Black Smoke or natural, and ceramic in Travertino, Ash, Bahia Black or Beneto Cream.

The top: oak, walnut or ceramic

• Oak: European oak with an open grain, 40 mm thick, finished with two coats of clear matt lacquer. Grows warmer in colour over the years. Not for outdoor use.
• Walnut: deep chocolate brown, 40 mm thick. Can lighten slightly in long periods of direct sunlight; UV blockers in the lacquer limit this.
• Ceramic: resistant to heat, scratches and stains. It is heavy, though, and sensitive to a hard knock on the edge.

Shape: rectangular, oval or Danish oval

A rectangular table gives the most seats per metre and sits neatly along a wall. An oval has no corners, so it is easier to walk around. A Danish oval is fuller at the ends, giving more room there than a classic oval.

How much space does a set with six chairs need?

Allow 700 to 750 mm of table edge per person and at least 800 mm of free space around it, so a chair can be pushed back. For six people, three per long side, that means a table length from about 2100 mm. With someone at each end, 1600 mm with two per side is enough.

Chair or swivel chair?

A swivel chair turns with you as you get up or face your neighbour, so it slides less across the floor. A fixed chair looks calmer and tucks under the table more easily. All individual models are under dining chairs.

Delivery time, guarantee and showroom

Delivery time for seating varies by model, from 2 to 12 weeks; the product page of the set shows it. You get a 2-year guarantee on construction and finish, on the table and the chairs.
