Which material matches your interior? A screen never shows the exact colour, structure and texture of a table top. With a physical sample in hand, you judge the material under your own lighting, next to your floor and walls. This prevents a costly mistake.
Which sample to order?
Ceramic (28 colours): from warm travertine to sleek black marble. Oak (19 stain colours): from light natural to deep black. Walnut (1 colour): the characteristic dark chocolate brown of American walnut.
Ceramic is the most versatile top material in our range. With 28 colours and decors, the selection runs from warm sandy tones and travertine looks to cool marble decors and sleek concrete looks.
Each sample is a piece of the same material as your future table top: 100 x 150 x 12 mm, the same structure and surface. Not a printed card but the actual material in the exact thickness of your top.
Popular choices include Travertino Romano for a warm, Mediterranean feel and Greek White for a clean, light dining room. Undecided between several tones? Receive up to 4 ceramic samples per order and compare them side by side on your table.
All 28 colours can also be viewed in the 3D table configurator, where you see the top paired with a base. The sample then confirms the look in person.
The 28 ceramic decors divide into four groups. Light marble looks such as Greek White and Silver Root White give a clean, modern appearance. Warm stone looks such as Travertino Romano, Lime Stone and Taj Mahal suit a rustic or Mediterranean interior.
Grey and concrete looks such as Fossil, Nickel and Galaxy Stone (Light, Medium, Dark) are versatile and suit nearly any interior. Dark decors such as Bahia Black, Calacatta Black, Shakespeare Black and Saint Laurent make a bold statement.
Light and dark tones often look flat on screen. The sample reveals the subtle veining and texture differences that make all the difference.
Solid European oak is stained to colour and finished with a high-quality matt 2K lacquer. The surface is smooth, low-maintenance and built for daily use. The 19 stain colours range from light (Natural, Corn Silk, Palm Beach) through mid-tones (Mid Brown, Hazelnut, Cinnamon) to dark (Black Smoke Intense, Black).
With oak, you can optionally choose a brushed surface. Brushing brings the wood grain forward, creating a tactile, robust effect. This difference is hard to judge on screen. A sample makes it clear instantly.
Choose up to 4 oak samples per order. Place the sample next to your floor or kitchen worktop to judge how the stain colour fits your interior. See all oak table tops for an impression of the final result.
Stain colours appear differently on solid wood than on a rendered image. This is because the wood grain absorbs the stain unevenly.
Light colours like Natural and Barley White let the grain show subtly. Darker colours like Venezien and Brown Sugar cover the grain more, but retain the natural character.
Compare a brushed and an unbrushed sample in the same colour to judge the difference. The grain is more pronounced on brushed wood. This effect is barely visible in photos.
American walnut (black walnut) has a dark chocolate brown colour with lighter sapwood that creates a natural pattern. There is no stain choice: the wood is finished with a clear 2K lacquer that preserves and protects the natural colour.
With walnut in particular, a physical sample is valuable. The combination of dark and light wood sections differs per plank. The sample gives you a realistic picture of the colour variation you can expect.
See also the walnut table tops page for more information on this material. The natural variation in colour and grain makes every top different. That is precisely why a sample is especially important here.

Select the material below to receive samples: ceramic samples, oak samples or walnut samples. Choose the colours you like and add them to your cart.
You can view up to 4 samples per material. Want to compare both ceramic and oak? Order them separately, each with up to 4 colours.
Samples are shipped as letterbox post. Within 1 to 3 working days they arrive in your letterbox, no need to be home. Judge them at your leisure in daylight and artificial light.
Tip: judge samples under different lighting
Place the sample by the window during the day and under your dining area light in the evening. Ceramic and wood react differently to warm and cool light. This prevents surprises after your table is delivered.
Made your colour choice? Go to the 3D table configurator and assemble your table. Choose the material, the colour from your sample, the desired top dimensions and a base. The price is calculated instantly.
