Description
A ceramic Danish oval dining table on Riga 80x40 in brushed stainless steel: a combination for indoors and outdoors, with free ends. Other tops and bases in the same shape are among the Danish oval dining tables.
- Four legs from one centre point under the top: with Riga 80x40 in stainless steel the ends and sides stay free for chairs.
- Flat 80 × 40 mm stainless profile: the slim Riga; Riga 80x80 uses square box section and looks heavier.
- Ceramic top in 29 colours: sintered at extremely high temperature, so it resists heat, scratches and stains, and is UV-resistant for indoors and outdoors.
- 304 (18/8) stainless steel, brushed: naturally corrosion-resistant, no coating needed; powder coating in a RAL colour is optional.
The drawback: ceramic is heavy, and a hard point impact on the edge can cause damage. Heat, stains and sunlight do not affect the top; see the ceramic dining tables page.
Top and base both handle sun and rain. The steel Riga 80x40 with outdoor primer can too; the difference is colour versus brushed metal.
At the showroom in Maasbree, the Netherlands, also open on Saturdays, you can see top and base in person. You get a 2-year warranty on construction and finish.

All about shipping
Delivery or collection
We deliver furniture ourselves, in our own van, with two people. At checkout you choose: delivery within 4 weeks, or within 8 weeks at a lower rate. You can also collect from the showroom in Maasbree, with no delivery charge. Samples and accessories go by post.
How does the table arrive?
We deliver the tabletop and base separately and assemble them where the table will stand. A base is often a single welded piece and cannot be taken apart further. Allow for this when checking doorways, corners and access to the room.
Delivery to an upper floor
The lift must accommodate the tabletop length plus 10 cm. Otherwise, an external furniture lift is required. Also check that the base and access route fit. We only carry small items, such as a coffee table, up stairways. You arrange the furniture lift yourself; we agree the delivery date and time together. Unsure about access? Packaging
Every product is packed for transport, and made-to-measure pieces get extra protection. If you notice damage on delivery, report it within two working days.
Delivery Times
The lead time you choose includes production: within 4 weeks, or within 8 weeks at a lower rate. Your confirmation states the latest date, not an estimate, and we are often earlier. If a component takes longer, a made-to-order fabric for instance, you see that before checkout. Lead times for seating vary by model, from 2 to 12 weeks; the product page shows it.
Tracking and delivery appointment
Samples and small items go by post, and you receive a tracking code by email. Furniture we deliver ourselves: you receive a proposed delivery day by email in advance, which you confirm or reschedule.

All about returns
Right of withdrawal
For standard stock products, the legal 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the date of receipt. Custom-made products, including all tables, frames, table legs and tabletops made to measure, are excluded from the right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article 6:230p sub f of the Dutch Civil Code.
Cooling-off period
For stock products, you have a 14-day cooling-off period after receipt. Within this period, you may cancel the agreement without giving a reason. After notifying us of the return, you have another 14 days to send the product back.
Return conditions
The product must be returned unused, complete and in its original packaging. Keep the packaging carefully until you are sure you want to keep the product. Any damage upon delivery must be reported to us within two working days.
Return process
Register your return through the contact form or by email, and you receive instructions for sending it back. Return shipping is at your cost, unless we agree otherwise. Once we have received and checked the product, we refund the purchase price within 14 days. Full details are in our terms and conditions.
Custom products: no right of withdrawal
Tables, bases, table legs and tabletops that we make to measure, in wood, natural stone, ceramic, stainless steel or steel, are excluded from the right of withdrawal. A made-to-measure item can only be returned for a manufacturing defect, which is covered by the 2-year warranty on construction and finish. Read more in our terms and conditions.

Unsure about the colour?
Order samples of your tabletop and lay them on your current table, in daylight and under lamplight in the evening. Delivered within 1-3 working days. From €500 we deduct the sample costs from your order.
