Which garden chair suits your garden and usage? The choice depends on three factors: the frame material, the seating comfort and how you use the chair. Aluminium is lightweight and easy to move, stainless steel has a robust, modern appearance and textilene offers a soft seating comfort that dries quickly after rain.
Quick selection guide
Frequent moving and stacking - aluminium: light, compact and easy to store.
Maximum seating comfort - textilene or rope: springy seat that yields with your body.
Robust and stylish - stainless steel with Batyline: corrosion-resistant frame with high-quality fabric.
Adjustable relaxation - aluminium with adjustable back: from dining position to lounge position.
Aluminium does not corrode and weighs a fraction of steel or stainless steel. This makes aluminium garden chairs ideally suited if you regularly move chairs from patio to dining table or from garden to shed. Most models are stackable and take up little storage space.
The collection ranges from the compact Avento to the adjustable Foxx high back with multiple back positions. In between are models with rope upholstery such as the Liv and Rivera, combining a warmer appearance with the lightweight aluminium. Aluminium requires no maintenance. A damp cloth is sufficient.
Textilene garden chairs use a woven synthetic fabric as seat and backrest. This fabric is water-permeable: after a rain shower the chair dries within minutes. You do not need cushions; the fabric flexes and provides immediate seating comfort.
Textilene is UV-resistant and mould-resistant. Clean with water and mild soap. Those seeking the most durable variant of textilene should choose Batyline by Serge Ferrari.
Stainless steel is the strongest frame material in the collection. Stainless steel garden chairs are built for years of intensive use without the frame corroding or discolouring. The brushed finish gives a sleek, modern appearance.
The Marco Polo combines a stainless steel frame with Batyline by Serge Ferrari and teak armrests. This combination is suited for the most demanding outdoor conditions.
Several aluminium models feature rope upholstery around the frame. Rope is a braided synthetic cord that gives a warmer, more organic appearance than bare aluminium. The Liv rope and Rivera rope combine the lightweight aluminium with the soft look of rope. Rope is weather-resistant, colourfast and easy to clean.

Combining with an outdoor table
All garden chairs can be combined with outdoor tables from the collection. Popular combinations: aluminium chairs with a ceramic outdoor table for a sleek look, or stainless steel chairs with a granite outdoor table for a robust appearance.
Most garden chairs in the collection are stackable. All materials are suitable for year-round outdoor use. A cover is not necessary but can keep the chairs cleaner during periods of non-use.
