Brushed 304-grade stainless steel: material and properties

All bases are made from 304-grade stainless steel, an alloy with at least 18% chromium and 8% nickel. This composition creates a self-healing oxide layer that protects against corrosion. The brushed finish is applied by sanding the surface in one direction, producing a subtle line pattern that is less prone to showing fingerprints than a polished surface.

304-grade stainless steel is the most widely used stainless steel alloy in the world, applied in kitchens, medical equipment and architecture. For table bases it offers a combination of strength, corrosion resistance and an attractive appearance.

The Riga series is available in two profile widths: 80x40 mm (slimmer) and 80x80 mm (more robust). Via the 3D configurator you adjust exact dimensions. Height, width and depth are adjustable to the centimetre.

Stainless steel base for outdoor use

304-grade stainless steel is suitable for year-round outdoor use by default. No additional coating or primer is needed. Even after years outside, the base retains its silver appearance. Welded in Maasbree, Netherlands

All stainless steel bases are welded and finished in our workshop. Welding stainless steel requires craftsmanship: weld seams must be clean and smoothly finished to maintain the brushed look. Each base is hand-finished in Maasbree.

The ordering process: configure in the 3D configurator, place your order online, and the table is made and delivered to your home, fully assembled. Delivery throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany). Lead time: 1 to 4 weeks.
