Which base suits your dining table? A steel dining table combines a powder-coated frame with the table top of your choice: ceramic, solid oak, walnut or granite. The steel base is welded in our workshop in Maasbree, Netherlands, and powder-coated in one of 10 RAL colours.
Steel or stainless steel?
Steel (powder-coated): 19 models, 10 colours, industrial to rustic. Stainless steel (brushed): 9 models, silver, modern and sleek. Steel offers more colour choice, stainless steel is silver-toned. Both are suitable for outdoor use with the right treatment.
Every steel base is finished with powder coating. This is a process where powder particles are electrostatically applied to the steel and then cured in an oven. The resulting layer is harder and more durable than conventional paint.
Powder coating protects the steel against scratches, impact and wear. The layer is applied evenly across the entire frame, including corners and welds. Under normal dining table use, the coating stays intact for years.
You choose from 10 RAL colours:
The steel bases are named after cities. Each model has its own character that defines your table's look. The collection includes models like Riga 80x40, Riga 80x80, Dublin, Helsinki, Geneve, Prague, Sydney and Rhodes. Round variants are also available.
Which model fits your table?
In the 3D configurator you place each base model directly under your chosen top. Rotate the table and view proportions from every angle. The base adjusts automatically to the top size.
The combination of ceramic on a steel base is the most popular configuration. Ceramic is 12 mm thick, scratch-resistant (zeer krasbestendig), heat-resistant and maintenance-free. The slim top contrasts with the robust steel frame.
Popular pairings: a dark ceramic top (Bahia Black, Saint Laurent) on a black steel frame. But light combinations also work: Travertino Romano or Alice Gold on RAL 9010 white delivers a fresh, Scandinavian feel.
Solid oak or walnut on a steel frame delivers a warm-industrial look. The contrast between cool steel and warm wood is a deliberate design choice that works in many interiors.
Oak is available in 19 stain colours, from light Natural to deep Black. Tops are 40 mm thick, available up to 3000x1200 mm. Walnut is naturally dark chocolate brown and delivered with clear 2K lacquer. Maximum size: 2600x1200 mm.
| Combination | Top thickness | Max size | Top colours | Top maintenance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ceramic + steel | 12 mm | 3200x1600 | 28 | Damp cloth |
| Oak + steel | 40 mm | 3000x1200 | 19 stain colours | Damp cloth |
| Walnut + steel | 40 mm | 2600x1200 | 1 (Natural) | Damp cloth |
