Custom Stainless Steel Dining Table

A stainless steel dining table has a base of brushed 304-grade stainless steel. The material does not corrode, does not discolour and requires virtually no maintenance. The brushed finish gives a sleek, modern appearance that stays intact for years.

Brushed 304-grade stainless steel: material and finish

304-grade stainless steel is the most widely used stainless steel alloy for furniture and kitchens. It contains chromium and nickel, forming a protective oxide layer that prevents rust. The brushed finish is applied mechanically, giving a fine linear texture that subtly reflects light. Unlike polished stainless steel, the brushed variant shows virtually no fingerprints.

9 stainless steel base models

The stainless steel collection includes 9 models: Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Helsinki, Sydney, Riga 80x40, Riga 80x80, Riga 80x40 round and Riga 80x80 round.

The Riga models are available in two profile widths: 80x40 mm (slimmer) and 80x80 mm (more robust). The round variants have rounded corners. Dublin and Helsinki are central bases that provide full legroom around the table.

In the 3D configurator you place each stainless steel model under your chosen top. The base scales automatically with the top dimensions.

Stainless steel dining table with ceramic

Ceramic on stainless steel is a popular combination for modern interiors. Both materials are low-maintenance with a sleek appearance. The slim 12 mm ceramic top enhances the modern character of the stainless steel frame.

Light ceramic colours such as Ash or Silver Root White harmonise with the silver tint of brushed stainless steel. Dark colours such as Saint Laurent or Shakespeare Black create a deliberate contrast. Maximum top size: 3200x1600 mm. View all 28 colours on the ceramic dining tables page.

Stainless steel dining table with wood

Solid wood on a stainless steel frame creates an interesting material contrast. The warm, organic wood is enhanced by the cool stainless steel.

Oak is available in 19 stain colours up to 3000x1200 mm. Walnut in clear lacquer offers a dark chocolate contrast against the silver frame. All wood tops are 40 mm thick with 2K matte lacquer.

Stainless steel dining table with granite

A granite top on stainless steel combines two cool materials. Steel Grey Leather on brushed stainless steel gives a tone-on-tone effect. Nero Assoluto on stainless steel offers maximum contrast: deep black stone on silver metal. Maximum top size for granite: 2400x1000 mm.

Welded in the workshop in Maasbree, Netherlands

All stainless steel bases are welded and finished in the workshop in Maasbree. The stainless steel is cut to size, welded and mechanically brushed. Because everything is done in-house, custom sizes are also possible. Get in touch to discuss the options.

Maintaining a stainless steel base

Stainless steel 304 requires minimal maintenance. Clean with a damp cloth in the direction of the brush grain. Do not use scouring pads that could damage the finish. Stainless steel does not corrode and does not need to be lacquered or treated.
