How do you design a custom table? The Tulmans Furniture 3D configurator lets you assemble a complete table in nine steps: from material and colour to base and dimensions. You see the result in 3D instantly, with a live calculated price.

Assembling your table in 9 steps

The configurator guides you step by step. You choose the top, the base and the dimensions. After each choice the 3D model updates instantly, so you see exactly what you are ordering.

Step 1: Top material. Choose from ceramic, granite, solid oak or walnut. Each material has its own properties regarding maintenance, resistance and appearance.

Step 2: Colour or decor. For ceramic choose from 28 decors, for oak from 19 stain colours, for granite from 4 stone varieties, and for walnut the colour is fixed (clear 2K lacquer). Undecided? Order material samples to judge the material at home.

Step 3: Shape. Available shapes are rectangle, oval, round, Danish oval, half circle and rectangle with radius. Not every shape is available with every material; the configurator shows the options automatically.

Step 4: Dimensions to the millimetre. Length from 400 to 3200 mm, width from 400 to 1600 mm. For round shapes, choose a diameter from 300 to 1600 mm. You set the size to the millimetre so the table fits the space you have. The price recalculates instantly with every adjustment.

Step 5: Edge finish. Choose straight or 60 degrees. A straight edge gives a clean profile, a 60-degree edge gives a subtly bevelled look.

Step 6: Base material. Steel or stainless steel. Both are welded in our workshop in Maasbree, Netherlands. Steel with outdoor primer is equally suitable for outdoor use as stainless steel; the choice is purely aesthetic.

Step 7: Base model. For steel choose from 19 models, for stainless steel from 9 models. Each model is named after a city. In the 3D view you see the base under your top immediately.

Step 8: Base colour. Steel is available in 10 RAL colours, stainless steel is brushed silver. Match the base colour to your interior or patio.

Step 9: Application. Indicate whether the table will be used indoors or outdoors. For outdoor use, the base receives an outdoor primer for years of protection against the elements.

Every top is paired with a base of your choice. Steel offers the most variety: 19 models in 10 RAL colours. Stainless steel is available in 9 models with a brushed silver finish.

The choice between steel and stainless steel is aesthetic. Steel offers colour choice for those who want to match the base to their interior. Stainless steel provides a sleek, silver-toned foundation.

Materials comparison: which top suits you?

For families with children, ceramic is the most worry-free choice: scratch-, stain- and heat-resistant. For a warm interior, oak or walnut brings the most atmosphere. For outdoor use, pair ceramic or granite with a steel (outdoor primer) or stainless steel base.

After ordering, your table is made to measure in our workshop in Maasbree, Netherlands. Delivery time is 1 to 4 weeks depending on material and dimensions. Delivery is available throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).
